Manhattan SC and National Elite Soccer Showcase (NESS) are pleased to announce their strategic and administrative alliance with the goal of offering teams the best tournament showcase environment in the country. The Manhattan Kickoff-Classic will take center stage on March 4-5-6, 2016.

Kevin Koehn, Tournament Director of NESS stated that “This relationship will enable both groups to use their strengths, add valuable input and enable the Manhattan Kickoff-Classic to reach its objective of being the first must attend showcase of the year.”

Plans are to maximize the competitive element of the tournament on both girls and boys side, bring in more college coaches, offer additional facilities and ensure every aspect of the Manhattan Kickoff-Classic tournament continues to evolve. “It is a privilege to work with such a renowned tournament and club as Manhattan SC. We look forward to adding our knowledge, support and strength of our Albertson Fury/Academy teams to boost the quality of clubs attending the first major showcase of the year,” commented Koehn

In 2014 over 1100 teams applied to the Manhattan Kickoff-Classic. This will be tournament’s sixth year and acceptance pool will be expanded and the new alliance will work diligently to ensure the playing environment will be second to none in the country. Jason Kahan, MSC Tournament Director, is confident that “This alliance further solidifies our commitment to making the Manhattan Kick-Off Classic one of the very top tournaments in the United States. We look forward to working with NESS to continue our upward arc.”
