The tournament will provide college coaches in attendance with a Team Player Profile Book for Showcase Age Players. This “college coach” book contains a one page profile per team that will include each player’s vital data will appear on a per team summary: contact info, graduation date, GPA, SAT scores, etc. More extensive information will only be available to college coaches online.
Team Managers – Please follow these GotSoccer instructions:
- Log into your team’s account for the current tournament application under “Team Account” at www.gotsport.com Once you are in your account, click on “Roster”. This will be located on the Gray Bar on the top of the page.
- All Rosters NEED to be updated for the Tournament regardless, as provided in the Team Manager’s Check-in Procedure
- You can Add Players to your roster…
- Once in the “Roster” section, scroll down and click on the “Add Player” button.
- When you are in the “Add Player” section complete as much as you can, but make sure to complete the required fields.
- Player’s Name:
- Jersey Number:
- Graduation Year:
- Sex:
- Birth date:
- Email address:
- Then Click the save Button
- The page will update to show Tabs that allow you to add all:
- Parent Information
- College Recruiting Information
- Event Attendance
- Account Information
- Emergency Contact
- If you already have your Rosters Updated just make sure the College Recruiting Information is updated.
- For the player profile books, only the rosters and the college recruiting information will be used and accessible to the college coaches.
- You will have the option of adding all of the information about each player directly, OR you can have the login information for each player sent to them and have them fill out the rest of the information.
- Directions on sending login Information to your players can be found on player’s Account info” Tab.
- Complete these steps for every player on your roster and for anyone who will be guest playing that weekend.
Players – Please Follow these instructions
- Enter your personal information – phone, grades, SAT scores, honors, interest in colleges and course study and more. Verify that the info already provided in your profile, such as your birthdate, number and address are accurate and modify as necessary.
- We highly suggest including player photos as head shots not full body shots, so that coaches can more easily recognize players. Head shots show up best in the profiles.
- In the “Provide Details of Sporting Achievements” area. Examples would be: ODP, High School All-Star teams, etc – only enter up to 3 to 4 lines of text here as that is what will print out for the coaches. Do not enter TEAM achievements in this area.
- If you have already created a profile earlier in the season, double check it to be sure all info is up to date.
